Environmental Justice from a Native American Law Perspective

Join a career panel discussion with four attorneys involved in environmental justice and Native American law issues:

  • Alex Cleghorn, the Directing Attorney of California Indian Legal Services' Sacramento Office.
  • Scott Williams, a partner with the Berkeley law firm of Alexander, Berkey, Williams & Weathers.
  • Little Fawn Boland, a solo practitioner based in San Francisco and a faculty member with the Academy of Tribal and Local Government.
  • Judy Rabinowitz, an attorney with the Indian Resources Section of the Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division.

Each panelist will give a short presentation, followed by time for questions at the end. This panel is being co-sponsored by the Native American Law Students Association, La Raza, Career Services, the Environmental Law Society, the Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal, Hastings Race and Poverty Law Organization, and the Pilipino American Law Society. Food and drinks provided.

This event is free and open to the public. 1Ls can also learn more about the board elections and receive information materials for those interested in running for a position.
