Notes from the Field: Opportunities for Lawyers in Interdisciplinary and International Contexts

This discussion regarding opportunities for lawyers in interdisciplinary and international contexts will be led by UC Hastings graduate Aishwarya Kancharla, class of 2010.
Ms. Kancharla currently works as a Consortium Legal Fellow and will be starting as a Project Manager for a health care intelligence practice in San Francisco. She will be discussing her experiences in Afghanistan, Zambia, and India as a law student working in interdisciplinary settings on issues such as rule of law, maternal health, and public health. She will discuss the value of legal training in these settings, as well as opportunities for development for students in such nontraditional career paths.
