1st Annual Social Justice Panel Series: CA Prison Hunger Strikes

UC Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal, UC Hastings Prisoner Outreach, La Raza Law Students Association, Black Law Students Association, UC Hastings National Lawyers Guild, UC Hastings Students for Sensible Drug Policy and UC Hastings Criminal Law Society are co-sponsoring this panel discussion on the hunger strikes that took place in California prisons in July and are set to resume on September 26th. This event is free and open to the public.

Come learn why the Hunger Strike was initiated, the issues facing people imprisoned in Security Housing Units, and how you can get involved.
