Judge Nancy Gertner is a feminist, former federal judge, and now Professor of Law at Harvard University. Nancy Gertner is the author of In Defense of Women: Memoirs of an Unrepentant Advocate, which recounts her early years as a criminal defense and civil rights attorney before joining the federal bench. This interview will be conducted by Professor Lisa Faigman Lecture in Law of UC Hastings.
