Hastings Receives $1 Million Anonymous Gift for Student Aid -

An anonymous donor presented UC Hastings with a gift of $1 million, the largest donation for student financial assistance in the 130-year history of the law school. 

“This extraordinary gift will help ensure that we can provide talented students with a
world-class education,” said Hastings Chancellor and Dean Nell Jessup Newton.
