Prof Heather M. Field Receives Rutter Award for Excellence in Teaching

Professor Heather Field was honored with the 2008 Rutter Award for Excellence in Teaching, which is presented annually to a professor who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to teaching. William Rutter generously sponsors the award.
Professor Field teaches courses in taxation and her research interests include the effect of tax law on businesses and on business transactions. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School and worked as a tax lawyer at Latham & Watkins for six years before joining the Hastings faculty in 2006.
