Prof Heather Field Receives 1066 Foundation Faculty Award

The 1066 Foundation has chosen Professor Heather M. Field for this year's 1066 Foundation Faculty Award. The Foundation’s Faculty Award is intended to support scholarly activities of an early-career faculty member.
Although teaching is not a basis for the award, some of the Foundation trustees were in Los Angeles recently for Professor Field’s tax talk, so they saw a brief demonstration of her talent for making complex issues understandable in the classroom. This fund was created in 1992 and the award includes a modest stipend. Many members of the Foundation were trained by 65 Club professors and it is a joy and delight to showcase our faculty and their many accomplishments to the 1066 Foundation Board, so that they can see that our faculty continues to be one of the best in the country.
