AIDS Housing Alliance gives Spark Award to Hastings

The Spark Award comes from the AIDS Housing Alliance.  The Alliance recognized Hastings as one of five organizations who have "sparked" the most change in the Alliance's work over the past 5 years.  David Seward, CFO at Hastings, received the award on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Alliance's 5th Anniversary Party.  Mark Leno was there along with many members of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.  Mark Leno, a supporter of Hastings, is a state senator on the Budget and Fiscal Review Committee, as well as the Appropriations and Judiciary Commitees.  He has been very supportive of the Hastings-YMCA collaboration.
