Military Law Expert Gene Fidell Discusses "The Age of Transparency"
Military law authority Gene Fidell visits Hastings on March 23 to present The Age of Transparency in this year's Marvin Anderson Lecture.
Fidell will examine some current transparency skirmishes and initiatives, including President Obama's memorandum on Transparency and Open Government.
Among his high-profile cases was that of Army Captain James Yee, the Muslim chaplain at Guantanamo Bay. Currently with American University’s Washington College of Law, Fidell has written extensively on military law. He has also taught at Yale and Harvard.
