Profs. Ashutosh Bhagwat and Jo Carrillo Elected to ALI

Two UC Hastings faculty members, professors Ashutosh Bhagwat and Jo Carrillo, have been elected to the prestigious American Law Institute (ALI), bringing UC Hastings faculty membership to nearly two dozen.

The ALI is the foremost independent organization in the nation that produces scholarly work “to clarify, modernize and improve the law.”  Election through the highly selective process is considered one of the highest honors in the legal profession.
