Rupa Bhandari Appointed Director of Student Services

Associate Academic Dean Keith Wingate is pleased to announce the appointment of Rupa Bhandari as Director of Student Services, effective Dec. 6, 2010. Bhandari has served as Associate Director for Career Development at UC Hastings for over two and a half years.

As Director of Student Services, Bhandari will be one of the main advisors to the Associated Students of UC Hastings (ASUCH) and student organizations. She will also coordinate Orientation and Commencement, supervise Student Health Services, and assist in the administration of the Pro Bono Programs.

Before coming to UC Hastings, Bhandari was an associate at Gordon and Rees LLP and Villarreal Hutner PC and also worked as a television producer. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communication Studies and English from UCLA and her Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law.
