First Menu Screen

- This is first menu screen that appears.
- The menu bar on the left side of the screen, touch one of the buttons to choose:
| Source | The equipment used to display or play back media |
| Record | Controls for either audio or video recording |
| Lights & screen | Controls for turning on & off the lights above the screen and for raising & lowering the screen |
| Source volume | Volume control for video, audio, & computer playback |
| Mic volume | Volume Control for the wireless microphone |
Source Button Selected

For this demo the Source button will be selected.
Different Sources that Appear

When the Source button is selected, the different sources appear across the top of the screen.
Source Control Options

The sources are:
| VCR | Video tape play back |
| Audio Tape | Audiocassette tape playback & recording |
| Judge Desktop | Displays the computer located on judge's bench |
| Counsel 1 Computer | Displays a laptop connected to the input on counsel table 1 |
| Counsel 2 Computer | Displays a laptop connected to the input on counsel table 2 |
| DVD | Playback from the DVD deck |
| Document Camera | Displays the image from the document camera (also known as a video overhead) |
| Judge Laptop | Displays a laptop computer connected the the input on the judge's bench |
| Counsel 1 Video | Displays a video device connected to the input on counsel table 1 |
| Counsel 2 Video | Displays a video device connected to the input on counsel table 2 |
Audio Tape Source

Select the Audio Tape button to access audio cassette playback.
Insert Cassette

Insert a cassette in the audio cassette deck located in the wall rack next to the chalk board.
Audio Tape Controls

-
The controls for the audio tape deck are displayed.
- All of the playback controls on the cassette deck may be accessed on the touch screen.
- To begin playing the tape, touch the Play button.
Volume Controls

- The volume controls remain on the left side of the screen at all times.
- To adjust the volume for any playback source, use the up and down arrows under Source Vol
Stop Button

- When done, push the Stop button.
- Remove the tape from the cassette deck.
Power Off

To turn the system off, press the Power Off button at the bottom left hand side of the screen.
System Off

Then press the System Off button.
Return to Main Hastings Logo

The system will power down and the screen will return to the main Hastings logo.
