Client Counseling Team - Regional Finalists

Teammates Anoush Lancaster (3L) and Erica Hendricks (1L) were selected as Finalists in the ABA Law Student Division’s Regional Client Counseling Competition, hosted by Seattle University School of Law on February 7-8, 2009. 

In this unique ABA competition, teams of two law students interview a client played by an actor.  The law students are expected to simulate a law office consultation, gather the relevant facts from the client, and analyze the legal and non-legal dimensions of the client’s situation, while following the rules of ethics.

The Hastings Client Counseling Team congratulates Anoush and Erica for their superb performance.  Many thanks also go to the student coaches Jasmine Davaloo (2L) and Angela Poon (2L) for their dedication in mentoring the team, and to teammate Alicia Pitts (3L) for her hard work and support.  The team would also like to thank co-Presidents Swan Lee (3L) and My Linh Nguyen (3L) for their leadership in helping to run the organization this year.
