Prof. Donna Ryu Named U.S. Magistrate Judge
The United States District Court for the Northern District of California has selected Professor Donna Ryu for a full-time U.S. magistrate judge position in Oakland. Serving on the Hastings faculty since 2002, Professor Ryu teaches in the Hastings Civil Justice Clinic.
Prof. Donna Ryu Named U.S. Magistrate Judge
The United States District Court for the Northern District of California has selected Professor Donna Ryu for a full-time U.S. magistrate judge position in Oakland. Serving on the Hastings faculty since 2002, Professor Ryu teaches in the Hastings Civil Justice Clinic. Acting Chancellor and Dean Leo Martinez says, “Donna will bring to the bench the same intelligence, hard work, and dedication that she brought to the classroom. We are all fortunate that someone of her caliber has been appointed as a United States Magistrate. We will miss her, but take heart in knowing that we will all be better for her service.”
