Hastings Summer Law Institute Sponsored by Legal Outreach
The Hastings Summer Law Institute is a rigorous program that allows 11th and 12th graders from public high schools in San Francisco to strive for the highest standards of academic excellence and preview possible careers in the law as they learn about the criminal justice system. Each day, the class will be visited by a guest speaker from a different practice area in the legal profession. Every Friday, students will attend field trips to the places where law is made and legal professionals practice. The Summer Law Institute sessions will take place on the UC Hastings campus in real law school classrooms.
The institute will run 5 weeks, July 5 through August 6, 2010.
