Dean Wu is dedicated to institutional advancement. He has started both a strategic planning process and a major effort to ensure that Hastings maintains and improves on its reputation as one of the leading law schools of California and the United States. He expects to undertake a comprehensive capital campaign, the first such effort for the institution.
Board Chair Bruce Simon '80 says, "Frank Wu is a brilliant, world-class scholar and national leader in higher education. He was selected because of his powerful strategic vision for raising our 131-year-old law school to a new level. He has the experience and commitment to develop unprecedented private support for the College," Board Chair Simon emphasized.
