The US Supreme Court has granted review in Association for Molecular Pathology v. Myriad Genetics on the specific question, "Are human genes patentable?" UC Hastings College of the Law Professor Robin Feldman is available to answer that question, and discuss the "set of Supreme Court patentable subject matter decisions" that she believes may soon become a "quintet."
A video of Professor Feldman discussing the importance of the Supreme Court's decision to grant review in Myriad is available here. Her bio and publications are available at http://tinyurl.com/robinfeldman.
