          Jamie Wright '08 Appointed by Governor to State Medical Board

          Governor Jerry Brown appointed Culver City resident Jamie Wright '08 to the Medical Board of California on August 21.

          Currently the principal of the Law Offices of Jamie Wright, she serves on the Board of Directors for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC), Southern California as well as the Culver City representative for the LAX Advisory Committee.

          Wright earned her B.A. degree at the UC Berkeley and graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law. At the age of 19, she was appointed a Commissioner for city of Berkeley Peace and Justice Commission.
