          Mascot Tryouts?

After 138 years of teaching law and producing first-class legal scholarship, we began to wonder if perhaps we are just a little too focused. Maybe we should look a little more like other institutions, with athletics programs and school mascots?

          Dear Alumni & Friends,

After 138 years of teaching law and producing first-class legal scholarship, we began to wonder if perhaps we are just a little too focused. Maybe we should look a little more like other institutions, with athletics programs and school mascots?

I invite you to enjoy these brief and whimsical explorations of the idea, and to root for UC Hastings however you deem fit -- whether by connecting with our Career Office to mentor students or hire graduates, through your generous financial support toward Building UC Hastings and giving our students that competitive edge, or even by sharing these video or following us on social media (links in the footer) and helping to keep the fan base stoked.

For truly, as Coach Vince Lombardi once said: “People who work together will win, whether it be against complex football defenses, or the problems of modern society.”

          Sincerely,

          David Faigman
