{ class notes } New Administrative Director of the Courts Judge Steven Jahr ’74 has been appointed administrative director of the courts. The Judicial Council voted unanimously for Steven, who becomes the first AOC director with judicial experience. Steven served as a Superior Court judge in Shasta County for 22 years before his retirement in 2009. He is the state’s fifth adminis- trative director since the office was created in 1960.
