He spends as much time as possible each year traveling with his wife, Vanessa, and is surviving happily the experience of two daughters in college. ’83 Patricia Dunn writes: “After 10 years as assistant city attorney with the city of Ithaca, New York, I retired in 2008 and moved to a small town in Ireland. I have been loving every glorious moment of retirement and have been quite active doing all those things I barely managed to squeeze in during my professional life. I’ve been at Farella Braun + Martel in San Francisco since graduation. (I actually started working there while at UC Hastings.) I’m a partner now, representing policyholders in commercial insurance disputes. I also remain active in Tibetan human rights issues. I became involved through the Bay Area’s Tibet Justice Center, which is a group of lawyers focusing on Tibet. I took a leave of absence from Farella and in 2008 published a book about the Tibet movement, Tibet’s War of Peace. That work led to my becoming co-chair of the International Tibet Network, a coalition of Tibet groups around the world. So, family, a law practice, and saving Tibet—that’s been my life, with my talented and beautiful wife, Louise Francis.” / David Tekell was named a Texas Super Lawyer in consumer law for 2012 by Super Lawyers magazine. In addition to full-time private practice, David teaches consumer protection law at Baylor Law School. ’85 Lola Ellwein and Roger Moss have formed Pacific Bridge Mediation, based in Napa. The firm delivers the extensive real estate and business experience of its principals to controversies throughout Northern California. / Steve Haskell is a partner at Berkes Crane Robinson & Seal, in Los Angeles, where he practices complex commercial litigation and routinely handles insurance { class notes } dog agility in Ireland after having several successful years in agility in upstate New York. I was appointed agility games coach for the Republic of Ireland World Agility Team in 2011 and 2012, first in England and then in Belgium.” / Jim O’Sullivan has received the 2013 State Bar of Arizona Continuing Education Award. The State Bar CLE Committee presents this award each year to one person who has made outstanding contributions to the CLE programs of the State Bar of Arizona.
