MCLE Frequently Asked Questions

At the event, you’ll be asked to sign in and provide your bar number for our attendance records. MCLE certificates will be available at the event. (Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your bar number – we’ll contact you later for it.)

I forgot to sign in (or pick up my certificate). Can I still get MCLE credit for attending?

Yes. Please call your Alumni Center at 415.565.4616 or email rsvp@uchastings.edu and we’ll check our records for the event you attended and can send you a certificate. Please give us the name and date of the event and your bar number.

I don’t practice in California but attended a MCLE event. May I transfer my credit?

Many state bars offer reciprocity. Please check with your own state bar since each state has its own specific rules about MCLE credit.
