Information on Cost, Financial aid, and Housing

Tuition and Fees*

For the 2012-2013 academic year, we anticipate that the LL.M. program tuition cost will be $41,200 for the year. There will be no distinction made between in-state and out-of-state tuition. In addition, there are student health and activity fees estimated to be $550. You will also need to purchase student health insurance unless you are eligible for a waiver. We anticipate the cost of student health insurance will be $2500.

Living Expenses

You should plan to have a minimum of $20,000 - $21,000 to cover your living expenses (over and above your tuition costs) for the year.  

Scholarships 

Hastings offers partial tuition scholarships to some LL. M. students, but the majority of the costs must be provided by your own resources.  To apply for a scholarship, please submit the Scholarship Application (fill out online, then save for emailing or printing) at the time of your LL. M. application.  NOTE:  Saving the form requires Adobe Reader 8 or above.

Students who are U.S citizens, permanent residents or international students with a U.S. citizen loan co-signer may be eligible to apply for loans through the Financial Aid Office.  Click here for more information.
