Environmental Justice Resource Center:  The Center, located at Clark Atlanta University, is a research, policy, and information clearinghouse on issues related to environmental justice, race and the environment, civil rights, land use planning, transportation equity, suburban sprawl, and Smart Growth.   The site includes a number of reports, a news section, and a programs section which includes the People of Color Environmental Groups Directory 2000.  The Directory lists more than 400 groups from 45 states.  The resources section lists books and even a couple of videos which can be ordered and contains an annotated bibliography of Environmental Justice materials produced between 1980 and 1998, including law review articles.  The site also contains an excellent and comprehensive links page.

What is Environmental Justice & Environmental Racism?:  This site contains articles, interviews, and other materials addressing these questions.  Additionally, it has links to a large number of relevant sites.

Environmental Justice Case Studies:  This site contains case studies written by University of Michigan students on various grassroots struggles for environmental justice in the United States and around the world, including two in the San Francisco Bay Area.   The students were asked to locate and research a struggle in environmental justice on behalf of a grassroots environmental organization and offer recommendations to that organization for continued action

EPA Environmental Justice Site:  This site includes the text of the Presidential Executive Order on Environmental Justice, information about the Environmental Justice Small Grants Programs, a task force report on Environmental Justice, and information about environmental justice legislation in the States.

Environmental Justice Database:  This site is a bibliography of articles and books related to environmental justice prepared at the Michigan State University Extension.

Native Americans and the Environment:  The goals of this site include educating the public about environmental problems in Native American communities and exploring the values and historical experiences Native Americans bring to bear on environmental issues.  The site has a comprehensive bibliographic database, a casestudy on the Makah Whaling coflict, and links to on-line documents and sites.
