Welcome to the Student Services at U.C. Hastings College of the Law. You will find listed here resources to guide you throughout your years at Hastings. The Office of Student Services serves as a clearinghouse and resource center for student suggestions, concerns and issues. Orientation, academic advising and commencement are coordinated by Student Services. Campus activities and events which include Cabaret, Student Organizations' Faire, Ice Cream Socials and Bingo, First Year Section Breakfasts, 2L "Over the Hump" Celebration, Third Year Section Reunions, Bar Sweeps Weeks and "To Do" Day are implemented by Student Services working closely with ASUCH, student groups and individual students.

All Student Organizations register annually with the Office of Student Services. Registration is required to be recognized as an official student organization. Student Services provides guidance to ASUCH and student organizations. Students are encouraged to form new student groups and should contact Student Services for more information. The Office of Student Services coordinates the student use and staffing of the Skyroom and provides child care referrals. The Student Health Services and Student Information Center are units of the Office of Student Services.

The Director of Student Services reviews student initiated grievances regarding discriminatory practices and violation of privacy rights. The procedures are described in the Academic Regulations and Other Rules Applicable to Students, Section 90-92, p. 43.
