In honor of Black History Month, the Library is launching its Racial Justice Research Guide. The guide will help connect law students and faculty to the Library’s various resources on critical race theory, critical Black studies, Latinx critical theory, Asian critical theory, Indigenous critical theory, critical whiteness studies, and more.
The guide highlights resources like HeinOnline’s Slavery and the World: History, Culture, and Law, which examines the role that slavery has had on shaping the laws and institutions of the United States and other English-speaking countries. Additionally, the guide showcases a rolling selection of critical theory scholarship, including UC Hastings faculty publications and articles from the College’s very own Hastings Race and Poverty Law Journal.
If you have any questions, please contact the Reference Desk, and make sure to check social media for frequent updates to the guide.
