“I thought the course was very enjoyable and thought-provoking, and something I would recommend other law students to take even if negotiation and dispute resolution isn’t something they are planning on specializing in.” – Mahnoor Yunus ’22

The break out groups was a great reinforcement and made the material more accessible – I will remember some of the topics since I got to play them out and interact with others utilizing the skills.” – Brittany Stahl ’21

The Center for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution (CNDR) provides the training necessary for law students to be effective lawyers, negotiators, facilitators, mediators, and arbitrators in a world that depends more and more upon collaborative methods to resolve disputes and to solve problems. CNDR has consistently distinguished itself as one of the top 13 law school dispute resolution programs in the US, as ranked by US News and World Reports. The program’s numerous experiential-learning opportunities, like the Mediation Clinic, ADR Externships, ADR Team, a Concentration in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, and an LL.M Dispute Resolution Specialization allow students to hone their skills and prepare for life after law school.
