UC Hastings created the Legal Education Opportunity Program (LEOP) in 1969 to make an outstanding legal education accessible to those who come from disadvantaged educational, economic, social, or physical backgrounds.
UC Hastings Law and the UC Hastings Black Law Students Association (BLSA) will hold our second annual UC Hastings Black Pre-Law Summit this November 6th from 12pm-2pm. The event will be virtual and held via Zoom. Register.
Justice for All: Diversity & Inclusion in Law School Admissions, a special series of virtual panels and workshops on the law school admissions process from the perspective of a diverse applicant, was held from October 12 – 15, 2021. Recordings of two sessions are available.
The California Scholars Program supports a pipeline to enroll and financially support students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities and the American University in Armenia. The Program offers full tuition scholarships and $20,000 in living expenses, per year, for all three years at UC Hastings.
