UC Hastings offers an Early Commitment application plan for applicants who are sure that UC Hastings is their first-choice law school. The Early Commitment Option (ECO) is binding, which means that students admitted through the plan are required to withdraw their applications to other law schools and pay the enrollment deposit at UC Hastings.
The ECO application deadline is November 15. Applicants must have taken the LSAT by the October test date to be considered for ECO admission. For ECO applicants, there is no application fee for the 2015 cycle.
ECO decisions will be emailed to applicants by December 20. For students who are admitted, a $500 enrollment deposit is due by January 15.
