Summer Legal Institute

Each summer UC Hastings offers classes in a variety of subject areas. All in-person courses are taught at UC Hastings in San Francisco, adjacent to federal, state, and local courthouses, San Francisco City Hall, and many of the city's leading law firms.

The credit-bearing courses are open to any J.D. student currently enrolled and in good academic standing at an ABA-accredited law school and to UC Hastings JD, LL.M. and MSL students.

VA Students: Pay careful attention to the start and end date for each session (as well as online courses) as this might affect your benefits for the summer.
