Week of October 19 – 23, 2020
As the pandemic continues with increasing numbers of cases and great uncertainty, safeguarding the health and safety of everyone in our community and doing our part to slow the spread of COVID-19 is our highest priority. Reunion Weekend, our biggest signature event of the year, is an annual favorite for so many of us. After thoughtful consideration, deliberation, and consultation with the college, we have made the difficult decision to forgo hosting Reunion Weekend in person this year.
We want to embrace the limitations under which we have to operate and we want to create the best experience possible to celebrate your graduation milestone. We plan to replicate (virtually) the feeling of reconnecting with classmates in a space where you share many memories together. Accordingly, we have planned a week full of virtual engagement opportunities for all reunion celebrators including a tour of the new Cotchett Law Center, class-specific celebrations, multiple Lunch with the Expert events, the 5th Annual Great Debate, and a reunion toast with the Chancellor and Dean.
Please consider joining your class committee to encourage participation in your digital Reunion books. These dynamic pages allow you to share memories and photos with your class about time on campus as well as your career and life updates. I hope you will join me in celebrating this momentous occasion during these unprecedented times.
Looking forward to paving a new way in reunion celebration and engagement!
