Current Challenges in Trade and Investment in China

A panel of distinguished practitioners with deep experience in China will join us by Zoom to discuss a basket of current issues in the US-China trade and investment environment, including challenges posed by the intensifying US-China technological competition, sanctions compliance, data security mandates, reciprocity of market access, and related issues. Panelists include Zheng Liu, Partner in the International Property and Commercial Litigation groups at Rimon Law, a global law firm with offices in 13 countries including China; Greg Pilarowski, Founder of Pillar Legal, a boutique law firm focused on technology, media, and entertainment companies with offices in the Bay Area and Shanghai; and Jeff Layman, currently Deputy General Counsel for Venture Global LNG and an Affiliated Scholar with the Center for East Asian Legal Studies, and former China County Counsel for The Boeing Corporation.
