The Jerome Hall Lecture Presented by Professor Douglas Berman

Professor Berman, a leading authority on sentencing, will discuss the ugly past of, and a potentially brighter future for, Eighth Amendment jurisprudence, particularly in light of recent changes at the Supreme Court. Prof. Berman is among the most frequently cited scholars on sentencing, authors the widely read blog, Sentencing Law and Policy, and is a managing editor of the Federal Sentencing Reporter.
