Join the Haiti Justice Partnership to celebrate a victory for human rights in Haiti! June 1 at 5:30pm

On March 21 this year, a federal jury in a Boston ordered a former Haitian mayor to pay more than $15 million to victims of human rights abuses he committed in Haiti over a decade ago. Please join us on June 1 to learn more about this historic lawsuit as well as efforts to hold the human rights abuser accountable in Haiti that precipitated the U.S. actions and how this fits into the broader quest for justice in Haiti. There will be a panel discussion followed by a reception.

- Nicole Phillips (UC Law SF Adjunct Professor) Legal Director at the Haitian Bridge Alliance who served as a consultant on the case
