(MCLE) The U.S. Supreme Court – Recent Past, and Future

June 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free
The Supreme Court

Hosted by:Bassi Edlin Huie & Blum

What has the Supreme Court done, in this first Term with two new “Trump Justices” (Gorsuch and Kavanaugh) on the Court? Professor Rory Little has been covering the Supreme Court for four decades (the last ten years for Scotusblog.com), while also teaching Constitutional and Criminal Law topics at UC Hastings since 1994. A Supreme Court law clerk himself in ancient times – for five different Justices! – Professor Little will recount what the Court has done since last October, and also offer some “inside-baseball” insights about the Court as well as predictions about the future. Electoral gerrymandering, environmental cases, antitrust and other “business” topics, and big changes for criminal law and procedure – all will be revealed! And ample time will be reserved for audience questions.

Please join us at The Public Policy Institute’s Bechtel Center in San Francisco, CA for a MCLE event with UC Hastings Professor Rory Little. Attendees will be eligible to receive one hour of CLE credit.
