Practitioner Mediation Training Series: How to Assume the Neutral’s Role

The Center for Negotiation and Dispute Resolution (CNDR) at UC Hastings Law presents its Practitioner Mediation Certificate Training Series:

On the UC Hastings campus, CNDR offers high-quality, advanced dispute resolution courses on in-depth topics for practitioners. Sessions in this 7-part series assume completion of a basic mediation course (Fundamentals of Mediation offered by CNDR in summer), but it is not required to participate.

How to Assume the Neutral’s Role: The first of this series, this 4-hour session is a styles assessment course designed to help participants identify their natural strengths as well as opportunities for growth as an effective mediator. This reflective session will focus on the mediator’s role, and differing models and methods of mediation as a basis for building more advanced skills. 4 hours MCLE credit available. Lunch included.
