Bio

Allison G. Macbeth received her B.A. in Economics and Business from University of California, Los Angeles and her J.D. from Hastings.

Ms. Macbeth worked briefly for the San Francisco Superior Court as a Legal Research Assistant and then moved to the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office in September, 2000.  Ms. Macbeth began working in the Writ and Appeals Unit, where she handled a variety of serious and complex cases.

Through her various assignments in the SFDA’s office, Ms. Macbeth has prosecuted 35 jury trials to verdict.  In 2010, Ms. Macbeth returned to the Writ and Appeals Unit, where she prepared Respondent’s Briefs and People’s writ petitions for the Appellate Division of the San Francisco Superior Court and the Court of Appeal, First Appellate District.  Ms. Macbeth is currently assigned to the Trial Integrity Unit.

Ms. Macbeth has taught Legal Writing and Research and Moot Court at Hastings since 2001.
