Liz Moore became the Chief Communications Officer at UC Law SF in February 2022. Before joining Hastings, she was the Director of Communications for Rutgers Law School in New Jersey, and has also held Communications positions at Drew University, Clara Maass Medical Center, and for Essex County, New Jersey. She is a communications professional with experience in: media outreach, all areas of website content, CEO support, including speechwriting, social media, marketing goals, publications, and all areas of writing – including magazine, newsletters, professional emails, news, and reports. Prior to working in public relations, Liz had a career as a journalist, supervising 12 hyperlocal news websites for AOL and working as a reporter and columnist with the Star Ledger and The Oregonian. Her work has appeared in Montclair Magazine, The Huffington Post, and other publications. Originally from Southern California, Liz is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and earned her master’s degree in Communication and Media at Rutgers University.
