Bio

Jennifer Freeland teaches Legal Ethics, Professional Responsibility, and Torts.

As Associate Dean for Academic Skills Instruction and Support, Jennifer manages the college’s academic support programs (including the 1L Sack Program, Academic Support, and LEOP) and advances skills instruction across the curriculum through programmatic and pedagogical innovations designed to promote student academic success.

Jennifer graduated magna cum laude from Hastings in 2014, and she is thrilled to now serve as a faculty member and Associate Dean at her alma mater. After graduating from law school, she spent two years as a litigator, first in general civil practice at Kerr & Wagstaffe LLP, followed by plaintiff-side employment litigation at Swan Employment Law.
