Lydia Xia
Director of Web and Digital Media
Bio
Lydia Xia joins the Communications and IT Department as the Director of Web and Digital Media to help shape the digital presence of UC Law San Francisco.
Prior to this, she was the Deputy Digital Director for Senator Warnock’s reelection campaign. With her team, she crafted messaging that raised the Senator over $120 million, helped him reach 1 million followers on social media and win again in Georgia. Before her work on campaigns, she worked in consulting: designing creatives, writing content and managing fundraising portfolios. Lydia’s experience is concentrated in utilizing digital communication and visual design to advance progressive work.
She was born in California, raised in Arizona, and worked all over the country, before finally returning to the Golden State. Lydia currently resides in the East Bay. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Legal Studies at UC Berkeley. When she’s not scrolling Twitter or designing graphics, you can find her spending time with her dog, Valentine, reading or gaming online.
