Bio

Mallory Warner, J.D., is the Associate Director for the Master of Science in Health Policy & Law Program. As Associate Director, Mallory is in charge of the daily operations of the HPL program and is responsible for long-term planning for HPL events and projects. Previously, Mallory worked as a Health Policy Research Fellow at The Source on Healthcare Price and Competition, where she wrote a monthly blog post about California healthcare legislation and tracked healthcare bills on a national scale. She also provided legal services to elder veterans at the San Francisco VA Medical Center with the Medical-Legal Partnership for Seniors Veterans Project.

Mallory graduated from UC Law SF with honors in 2019 with a concentration in Law and Health Sciences. After graduation, Mallory sat for and passed the New York State bar exam. Throughout law school Mallory worked as an Advanced Clinical Law Student for the Medical-Legal Partnership for Seniors Clinic and also as a Research Assistant for the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium. Formerly a Research Assistant, Mallory worked on a housing conservatorship bill that had legal implications for those suffering from mental illness and addiction. She received a Community Public Interest Award in her last year of law school for her advocacy for the underserved in San Francisco.

Mallory earned her BA from the State University of New York College at Geneseo where she majored in Sociology and Political Science and ran for the nationally ranked cross country team.
