Bio

Adjunct Professor Paul Cort is a Staff Attorney with the non-profit environmental law firm of Earthjustice. At Earthjustice, he represents environmental and public health groups on a wide array of air pollution and global warming issues. Before joining Earthjustice in 2005, Professor Cort was an attorney with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency — first in the Office of General Counsel in Washington, D.C., and then in the Office of Regional Counsel in San Francisco. Before that, he was with the law firm of Pillsbury, Madison and Sutro in San Francisco.

Professor Cort received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Civil/Environmental Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
