Biography

Rachel Blanchard is the Project Coordinator for the UCSF/UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science & Health Policy at UC Law SF College of the Law. Rachel received her Bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley where she majored in English Literature. While at UC Berkeley, Rachel taught health education in high schools around the Bay Area and conducted research in reproductive equity at the UC Berkeley School of Social Welfare. She also worked with UCSD’s Community Outreach Department to research the Deaf community’s experience in the hearing-focused healthcare system. After graduation, Rachel worked at a Planned Parenthood clinic to further her interest in reproductive health. Rachel is passionate about improving health equity and access to reproductive healthcare.
