Bio
Ramy Alsaffar is a Fulbright scholar and graduated from Louisiana State University in 2018 with a master’s degree in computer science focused on data science. Mr. Alsaffar joined the Center for Innovation in 2018 and serves as the Center’s Senior Data Scientist. Mr. Alsaffar is responsible for understanding the dimensions of a problem, building suitable models to precisely address the problems at hand, carrying out appropriate statistical analyses, and revising the analyses integration into prospective papers.
Alsaffar is the author of Evaluating Classifiers’ Optimal Performances Over a Range of Misclassification Costs by Using Cost-Sensitive Classification.
