Rosa Nunez Kobi holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from UC Irvine and an M.A. in Human Rights and European Union Studies from Universidad San Antonio de Murcia. As a first-generation daughter of immigrants, Rosa was inspired to pursue a career focused on service and people. Rosa has worked as an intern in the US Congress and the California State Assembly, and she has extensive foreign experience, from interning at the Irish Parliament in Dublin, Ireland, conducting Human Rights research alongside faculty at the University of Tres de Febrero in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to immersing herself in the study of Canadian Criminology in the city of Vancouver. Most notably, Rosa’s most recent role as an Executive Producer for NBC KCAA News Radio has equipped her with the skills necessary to assist the UC Hastings Law Alumni network.
Rosa is looking forward to bringing her passion for people and service to the Advancement Office at UC Hastings Law, where she can help to cultivate alumni and expand sponsorships.
Outside of work, Rosa is a foodie who spends her free time enjoying the outdoors with her husband Ian and their energetic one-year-old son James.
