Biography
Stephen Tollafield is the Director of the Legal Research & Writing and Moot Court Department. In his prior legal practice, Professor Tollafield worked as a civil litigator at a public interest law firm and as a staff attorney at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Professor Tollafield has taught LRW 1 & 2, Appellate Advocacy, a seminar on disability law, and a writing class for international attorneys in the UC Law SF LL.M. program. Professor Tollafield is also a Supervising Attorney for the Hastings Appellate Project, a public interest advocacy clinic.
