Wendy Hill graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1995, and from the University of Wisconsin-Madison Law School in 1998. Wendy has been teaching LRW and Moot Court at Hastings since 2005, and in 2018, Wendy joined UC Hastings faculty as a full-time legal research and writing lecturer. She was a career law clerk for a judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California for nearly twelve years. Prior to her District Court clerkship, Wendy practiced at the law firm, Cooper, White & Cooper LLP in San Francisco, and also clerked for a United States Bankruptcy Judge and for a state appellate court.
Wendy loves teaching, and is extremely grateful for the many lessons that her students have taught HER over the years. In addition to teaching, Wendy enjoys chocolate (too much), hiking, reading, yoga, and hanging out with her young kids and rambunctious black lab.
